Girls and women have made great progress in STEM fields, but they're still not as well-represented as they should be.

Outdated stereotypes still portray STEM as a male-dominated field, creating an unwelcoming environment for women and girls. The lack of female role models in STEM, combined with math anxiety often unintentionally passed on by teachers, discourages girls from pursuing these subjects. Perhaps most concerning is that many girls start doubting their abilities as early as primary school, long before they've had the chance to discover what they're truly capable of.

STEMFORGIRLS is tackling these challenges by empowering girls to recognize their innate talents, nurture their curiosity, and build the confidence to pursue their passions in STEM. By providing a supportive, engaging environment, we're helping to cultivate the next generation of brilliant female minds in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Our camps are more than just learning experiences – they're a chance for girls to see themselves as future scientists, engineers, or tech innovators. Participants will work on engaging projects, solve real-world problems, and discover talents they might not even know they have.

We've created a space where girls can be themselves, ask questions, take risks, and dream big. Whether they're already science enthusiasts or just curious about STEM, they'll find something to excite and inspire them.

Girls will leave with new skills, new friends, and a new vision of what's possible for their future in STEM. These two days are filled with science, technology, and fun, designed to inspire, challenge, and amaze young minds!

We're building a team of women working or studying in STEM fields to inspire the our next generation of girls. We want young girls to see that science and technology are for them too, and that they can look up to women like you.

Who is behind

STEM4GIRLS?

STEM FOR GIRLS is a collaborative initiative born from the partnership of 3 organizations dedicated to enhancing female participation in science and technology. Our mission is to inspire and empower more girls to pursue STEM education and careers, addressing the gender gap and declining enrollment in technical institutes and universities, particularly among women.

By creating a supportive and engaging environment through hands-on workshops, mentorship from female role models, and innovative teaching methods, we aim to transform the current landscape and encourage teenage girls to explore their potential in STEM fields.

This initiative is made possible through funding from the European Commission's Erasmus+ programme, as part of the broader STEM4GIRLS project.

Three o'clock

Three o'clock is a social innovation agency dedicated to addressing pressing societal and environmental challenges. With core expertise in education, community engagement, and workshop facilitation, the agency is organizing and leading the STEM camps in France.

High5Girls

High5Girls has been a pioneer in creating STEM camps designed to connect girls with over 125 female role models from across Europe. With more than 5 years of experience, these camps offer participants hands-on immersion in the world of technology and science, fostering lasting connections with peers and mentors. In 2022, the initiative was evaluated by Rambøll Management, highlighting its positive impact on girls' confidence and their interest in technology

Edu Tech Impact

Edu Tech Impact, a brand of BonoLab ApS, focuses on developing educational materials for organizations committed to social and environmental impact. Along with creating learning tools that promote the development of essential 21st-century skills, Edu Tech Impact also emphasizes educational resources that highlight female role models in science. In this project, Edu Tech Impact will design digital learning materials to support girls on their educational journey in science and technology.
