    Learning about the origins of the energy used at home and exploring real-time data on Denmark's energy mix.

    Learning how wind and solar energy are generated and stored, and understanding the basic construction and functioning of these technologies.

Adelaida

Adelaida is passionate about bridging business, strategy, and people, balancing the big picture with day-to-day operational tasks to drive meaningful results.

With a background in Industrial Engineering and an MSc in Electric Energy Systems, she is a results-driven professional who thrives in dynamic, cross-functional, and international environments.

Alongside her career, Adelaida actively volunteers with High5Girls, participating in numerous initiatives to inspire and support the next generation.

About

Chris

Christiane Hanke is a Business Development Manager at GGE Group, a leading renewable energy company headquartered in Denmark. She oversees the full lifecycle of solar PV project development across Poland, the Baltics, and more recently, France.

With over eight years of experience in project management within the real estate and renewable energy sectors, Christiane has built a strong skill set in leadership, strategy, communication, and adaptability. She is passionate about driving the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient energy system, building on her Master of Science in Sustainable Energy from the Technical University of Denmark.

Throughout her career, Christiane has assessed more than 80 potential sites for wind and solar development, led zoning and permitting processes, and managed complex project strategies and timelines. She has also supported rebranding initiatives, co-authored sustainability reports, and mentored new team members along the way.

Beyond her professional journey, she is an active volunteer with High5Girls, encouraging young girls to pursue careers in STEM. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, connecting with nature through sports and adventure.

Alicia

Alicia Alarcón Cobacho is an energy engineer with a passion for renewable energies and sustainability, as well as their implementation in today’s society. Alicia has a professional background in solar photovoltaics. She is particularly interested in the generation, distribution, and management of energy in a sustainable way. In addition, she has a broad knowledge base that allows her to approach sustainability from different perspectives, and she is working to apply her skills to help build a greener future.

Alongside this, Alicia volunteers as a role model in High5Girls, where she has taken part in various activities to inspire girls to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
