Chris

Christiane Hanke is a Business Development Manager at GGE Group, a leading renewable energy company headquartered in Denmark. She oversees the full lifecycle of solar PV project development across Poland, the Baltics, and more recently, France.

With over eight years of experience in project management within the real estate and renewable energy sectors, Christiane has built a strong skill set in leadership, strategy, communication, and adaptability. She is passionate about driving the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient energy system, building on her Master of Science in Sustainable Energy from the Technical University of Denmark.

Throughout her career, Christiane has assessed more than 80 potential sites for wind and solar development, led zoning and permitting processes, and managed complex project strategies and timelines. She has also supported rebranding initiatives, co-authored sustainability reports, and mentored new team members along the way.

Beyond her professional journey, she is an active volunteer with High5Girls, encouraging young girls to pursue careers in STEM. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, connecting with nature through sports and adventure.
